The Shinook: Ceiling Mounted Heater

"It's too hot over here... it's too cold over there..."

Achieving a uniformly comfortable environment in workshopsShinook, warehouses and other rooms with high ceilings has always been a problem. With the Shinook hydronic ceiling mounted heater you can now have uniform heat distribution in buildings with high ceilings - 12' or more!

The Shinook Hydronic Heater provides uniform heat distribution in rooms with high ceilings.

How it works:

The Shinook consists of a spiral thread, aluminum, rib-tube element through which hot water is circulated. A fan, with specially designed blades, is mounted above the rib-tube element. The fan blades are designed to gently push a continuous stream of warmed air down and out to the bottom perimeter of the room (A).

The pressure of the fan then causeShinook-Flows the air to circulate in both directions from the bottom perimeter (B). Cooled air is continuously drawn back to the Shinook for reheating and distribution while warm air is continuously pushed to the bottom perimeter of the room. As a result you get very uniform horizontal heat distribution in the bottom of the room. Fan blades are adjustable to match your room size.

In traditional air heating systems a small quantity of air is strongly heated. The hot air rises to the ceiling thus creating a large and extremely uneconomical vertical temperature difference.

The Shinook continuously circulates a large quantity of air and only increases its temperature slightly. The result is uniformly heated air throughout the entire room. You get a more comfortable heating system and lower heating costs.

We sell only top quality products, we learned our lesson years ago, you get what you pay for, take it from me, when I build our place, I went to a big pluming supplier, and bought all the copper fittings, valves and pipe, when I brought all the stuff home, my wife at the time, said, wow, you paid all that for this, she told me she seen it cheaper in a big box store, she took all the stuff back to the pluming warehouse, and went to that box store, and bought all the stuff for a little more then half the price. Well for the next 4 years I spent ripping this place apart every time a fitting or valve sprung a leak, yes every fitting and valve sprayed water out of the main housing, like a small pin hole, not to mention the big mess every time, and the damage it did.

Well after 4 years, I replace every fitting and valve in the place.. now did we save money in the long run? No it cost us three to four times the price for the parts and repairs in the end, and that's not counting all the extra materials an labor I had to do over the 4 years.
