Romppai’s was created in 1997 to manufacture custom made fishing tackle and trailers.  It has grown to include several divisions to Romppai’s….. Retail: electronics and retail outdoor supplies and wholesale manufacturer and distributor.  Through the years we have expanded the business to include wholesale distribution for fishing tackle, fishing and marine supplies, supplies and hardware required for the automotive, marine, RV and heavy equipment industry.  This includes electrical wiring, lighting, fuses, switches, relays, solenoids, and most other electrical needs.  We also wholesale hydraulic components, hose and fittings for the transportation industry, such as PTO’s, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic valves, hydraulic fittings, hydraulic hose, and hydraulic motors.  We also wholesale fasteners, tools, fuel and brake lines, flashlights, extension cords, Warn winches, Lenco trolling electric outdrives with remote control and most other products used in small to large industries. We wholesale various archery and hunting products.  We offer early booking programs for our dealers and jobbers to save you even more money.  Please note that all products wholesaled by Romppai’s are not available to end consumers with the exception of our own name brand products, as we have a responsibility to get our own name brand products out to the end consumers.

Romppai’s Outdoors Supplies is a retail distributor for Heatmaster SS multi fuel Outdoor Furnaces and accessories, including a full line of hot water heating supplies.  We offer installation.  We also carry EZ-Loader boat trailers, utility trailers, custom made trailers, snowmobile trailers, custom made pontoon boats and pontoon house boats, pontoon work boats for personal or commercial use, pontoon barges, pontoon floating docks, pontoon boats designed for fishing, fully electric pontoon boats using the Lenco electric outdrives in 2 or 3 hp, pontoon boat kits, pontoon parts including replacement floats, above or below deck aluminum fuel tanks or holding tanks, electric Bow Thrusters, cabin heaters, full line of after-market outboard and I/O motor parts for all makes and models, lubricants including snowmobile injector oil, complete steering systems and control cables, water skis, inflatable tow behinds, Titan inflatable boats with soft or hard bottom, outboard motors, generators, full line of marine products which are itemized in a 1000 page catalogue, inverters, on board marine battery chargers, marine VHS radios, free standing docks ,dock parts, marine fridges, stoves and ovens, life jackets, water pumps, RV parts, full line of marine, solar, electric equipment or  automotive and gel cell batteries from Crown Batteries, downriggers, a wide selection of fishing gear not wholesaled by Romppai’s,  and of course our own name brand custom manufactured Canadian made fishing tackle.  Remember us for your wedding, family reunion, or big event to have your personal message imprinted on our own custom tackle.  We also carry Western Snowplows, ice control spreaders, as well as parts and service.  We also offer a full line of services and installation for everything we sell.  With our low prices we will not be undersold……..we will match or beat any competitor’s advertised price for the same or equivalent product. 

Since we have such a vast array of products it is difficult to list everything we have.  If there is something you need, we most likely have it or we can get it, so give us a call.  Please note that no pricing will be given by email initially but please email your request and we will follow up by phone with pricing and will email confirmation after initial communication.

We are located 15 minutes west of Thunder Bay from County Fair Plaza, out Hwy 102 (Dawson Road)

Watch: for our sign on Dawson Road heading west, just before Auto Road.  Turn right onto Auto Road, which is directly opposite of Wild Woode Store.  Travel 4.5 km on Auto Road, cross the Strawberry Creek Bridge and you will see our sign telling you to turn left onto Laukka Laine, where we are the second driveway on the right, with large driveway and turn-around.
